I'm on Safelink Wireless service. The stock phone I got, The Motorola W175, is not accessible. I can make and receive calls and voicemail, but there is no useful feedback from the menus, home screen, text message display, or pda features. I get no satisfaction from the customer service folk at either Safelink or Tracfone (the service provider). Does Safelink now offer a more-accessible phone?
I had this phone as well, and one month, I accidentally forgot to leave it on so they could put the minutes on it. I was unable to manually tell the phone to add the minutes. It was horrible. I finally just let them turn it off.
did'nt one of the prepaid have a phone called the lobster? Hmmm if so I would tried that rout but bee aware you will need to buy moble speak.
Not sure about the Lobster, but, thanks for the suggestion.
I believe Metro PCS has the Lobster.
Trackphone also has another line of prepaid phones called Straight Talk. Under the Straight Talk branding, they have the Nokia E71, which can be obtained from Walmart for 200, 10 dollars less if you buy it online.
The Nokia E71 suppports Symbian, and comes in a nice metallic design.
